Our Agenda
Sikh Youth Parliament is a mock parliament like Model United Nations (MUN) to educate Sikh Youngsters about Parliamentary procedures.
Our vision is to encourage the participants to consider the issues with (Sikh) youth and frame their opinions into solutions.
Sikh Youth across the diaspora will be called after the basic screening test to participate in a 3-day Mock Parliamentary session where they will represent themselves as Ministers and Members of Parliament.
Ministries of the Sikh Youth Parliament
Ministers & Members will represent 5 Major Ministries in the Sikh Youth Parliament
Every Ministry will have a time allotted for its discussions during the Sikh Youth Parliament. Each Ministry would have around 3 Hours to discuss the problem and create a solution in the form of the Bill, which will be passed by the Ministries.

Sikh Youth Parliament
What Will Happen?
Selected Ministers & members of Parliaments will participate in open House discussion on the issues related to Education, Information &Â Technology, Youth Affairs & Sports, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and will reach to some common solutions through which they will present the Bill to the House for Passing and implementation.
Every ministry will have a time allotted for its discussion during the SYP. Each ministry would have around 3 hours to discuss the problem and create a solution in the form of the bill, which will be passed by the Ministries.
The language to be used in the parliament will be prominently Punjabi.
